About
As a highly dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe in holding space for my clients to explore the complex emotional landscapes of their inner worlds without pressure or judgment. I understand that facing and navigating the stressors of life in our society is not an easy or simple task, and I offer support and guidance to help each client find the answers and solutions that they hold within themselves. I believe in a holistic approach to mental and emotional wellness, and incorporate various therapy modalities and techniques into my work, uniquely tailored to utilize your strengths and meet your needs.
I have experience using psychoanalytic, cognitive behavioral, and client centered therapies to help clients reach a state of peace, inner strength, and acceptance. Seeking help is tough, but I'm here to listen, support & guide with empathy. I care about your well-being & am dedicated to helping you overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, toxic relationship patterns, identity crisis, low self-esteem, or anything else that may be keeping you from being your best self.
I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PHM-C), and I have a particular interest and training in supporting individuals struggling with challenges related to perinatal mental health. This includes those who are pregnant and up to one year postpartum as well as individuals on their fertility journey, working towards pregnancy and preparing for conception. I treat and support those processing birth trauma, along with depression, anxiety, identity, and self-esteem issues that are triggered or exacerbated during the perinatal period. Adjusting to pregnancy, fertility challenges, and/or caring for an infant presents unique physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges. My goal is to help pregnant people and parents to navigate these difficulties within a safe space which fosters resilience, self-compassion, and hope for a brighter future.
Specifically, I assist those who may be experiencing depression and/or anxiety that is triggered or exacerbated by pregnancy or birth, those experiencing self-esteem
I graduated from the University of Albany with my Master’s of Social Work. I am currently licensed in New York and Florida, providing telehealth services.
