About
As a NY therapist with my Master’s in Social Work, I have experience working with adults of all ages, specializing in couples, individuals, and group therapy. My therapeutic modality is characterized by a combination of Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotion and Trauma-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.
My practice focuses primarily on clients with anxiety, depression, and PTSD, with a particular emphasis on familial and relationship trauma. I also work with those struggling with gender and identity issues and exploring sexuality.
Furthermore, I have worked with individuals and groups focusing on ADHD and neurodiversity. I help clients who are struggling with executive functioning, motivation, focus, and emotion regulation and collaborate with them in creating practical applications for coping skills. I am passionate about creating a space for those with ADHD to find a community in which they can share with those who experience similar difficulties. I also hope to use creativity and innovation with my clients to overcome challenges that come with being in a world not designed for them.
Within couples therapy, I often work on repairing communication between couples, helping them connect in meaningful ways, rekindling friendship and minimizing conflict. Together, we will hold space for uncomfortable feelings and work as a team to find solutions.
My ultimate goal is to create a safe and supportive space that allows clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves without judgment. I believe in the power of creating an empowering dynamic where clients are encouraged to be their true selves.
In addition to my work with individuals and couples, I act as the Director of Group Therapy at Only-Connect. Learn more about our group offerings by clicking here
